Here’s an explanation about us (Find Amazing) and what we’re all about. Take a look at we’ve got going on and let us know if you’re interested in collaborating with us!


WHO AM I?

First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Jared Walker, I’m the founder of Find Amazing. Over the years as an Emmy Award-winning Director and Visual Effects Artist I’ve worked on a wide range of viral videos, commercials, TV shows, and movies. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands (Google, Verizon, ESPN, Netflix, etc.) making advertising and marketing video content. The viral videos and commercials I've worked on have over 300 Million views on social media.

WHO ARE WE?

WHAT WE DO

Find Amazing is a wonderful mix of some of the things we’re most passionate about—video content, social media engagement, and retro pop culture. Our goal at Find Amazing is to share videos that catch people’s attention and get them to want to engage, both online and in real life! We do this mainly in two ways:

  1. Entertaining and nostalgic videos

    We use visual effects in our videos to hook people and grab their attention. Combining live action footage with VFX adds a unique magic to our videos and draws the viewer in. Each of our videos also include something from retro pop culture. It could be a movie, toy, or video game from your childhood that sparks a memory and sense of nostalgia for you. We share those things in our videos to help our viewers feel that wonderful nostalgic emotion.

  2. Real-world scavenger hunts and giveaways

    Each video we post is tied to a real-world scavenger hunt or giveaway. For the scavenger hunts, something from the video is hidden out in the real world for our viewers to find. This adds another dimension to our videos that make them more exciting and get people to follow our accounts. We also run online giveaways to include people that don’t live locally to the real-world scavenger hunts. Social media giveaways also help with engagement of videos when people need to like and share in order to enter.

HOW WE HELP EACH OTHER

THE BENEFITS

We love making video content, but what we love even more is collaborating with other brands that like the same kinds of things we do! Honestly it’s a win-win for everyone involved. Here are the benefits:

  1. The Brand (You)

    We promote and tag your brand in our videos to get you more awareness and engagement on social media. If you’re a brick and mortar company, we get actual people (potential customers) in the door using our scavenger hunt and prizes. With online giveaways we get you more followers and/or email subscribers that you can promote your brand and products to directly.

  2. The Viewer

    The viewers not only get to watch an entertaining video, but then they get to take it a step further and participate in a giveaway or scavenger hunt in real life. We’ve already seen a huge increase in engagement and connection through our scavenger hunts and giveaways. So far we’ve gotten rave reviews from people letting us know how fun the scavenger hunts have been for them and their families. It’s a wonderful way to get people excited and engaged beyond the normal social media doomscroll.

  3. Find Amazing (Us)

    Through collaborations we get to help out other small businesses. This is something we really care about, and it’s one of the things that brings us fulfillment in our work. And through collaborations we can also be sustainable as a small business ourselves. We need to keep the lights on to keep doing what we love, and collaborating with other businesses helps us do that.

HOW IT WORKS

AN EXAMPLE

Here’s an example of how a collaboration would work.

When a brand feels like a collaboration will be a good fit, we’ll meet to talk through the videos and campaign. Here are the goals we have for helping promote the brand:

  • Get awareness for the brand on social media

  • Get potential customers in the store/business

  • Get more followers / email subscribers for future promotion

The videos that we end up making for the campaign will keep these goals in mind. We’ll meet with the owner / decision-maker to go over our ideas for the videos and scavenger hunt / giveaway.

The videos

Each campaign will have a minimum of 2 videos included, but may have more depending on the brand’s goals and budget. Typically the first video will be an entertaining and engaging video that grabs the viewer’s attention and shows the location of the scavenger hunt drop. Then the second video will be for the giveaway

FINAL THOUGHTS

I hope this proposal has given you a good idea of my vision for the campaign and the direction that I’d like to take it. This is a project that I’m very passionate about and that I really believe in. Hopefully some of my excitement and passion has shown through in this proposal.

And I feel like Art of Visuals is the perfect organization to team up with on this project. Your focus on community, and helping creators through inspirational and educational content is so closely aligned with my goals that I feel like it would be a perfect match.
